How to apply for Admission in BHU

Admissions to all postgraduate programs at BHU and its ‘colleges admitted to the privilege of BHU’ will be determined by scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) 2025. In addition to CUET-PG 2025, candidates must apply for BHU’s Combined Allotment Program – 2025 (CAP-PG 2025). Seat allocation and admissions for all postgraduate programs (excluding Foreign Students) will be conducted through the Combined Allotment Program – postgraduate 2025 (CAP-PG 2025).

Programme-wise cut-off marks for 1st Round of Admission will be announced as per schedule for all the seats. Eligible candidates who have registered themselves and have secured minimum cut-off marks announced for 1st Round of admission for respective programmes shall be required to deposit the full programme fee as per prescribed fee structure within the prescribed date in order to secure the seat.

Candidates should ensure before registration that they have appeared in CUET(PG) 2025 entrance test in the Subject Code(s) specified for a particular programme of studies.

Bachelor Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks.

Bachelor Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied Physical Education as compulsory/elective subject.
OR
Bachelor Degree with 45% marks and having participated in National or State or Inter-University competition or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in Sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.
OR
Bachelor Degree with participation in International competitions or secured  1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.
OR
Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in service candidates, i.e., trained physical education teachers/coaches). 

NOTE :
(i) AGE: Not to be more than 25 years on 1st July 2025 (applicant should be born on or after 2nd July of 2000);  and
(ii) Candidates shortlisted for Physical Fitness Test of B.P.Ed. would be required to produce the highest sports participation certificate, if any, for consideration of Bonus Points for sports participation. The shortlisted candidates are required to bring the original certificate along with one Photostat of that certificate at the time of Physical Fitness Test for verification."
 

"Bachelor degree in any discipiline recognised by Bar Council of India, securing a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Note- As per directive of the Bar Council of India, the candidates who have obtained 10+2 or Graduation/ Post-graduation through open Universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission in Law Courses."
 

"Bachelor of Music/ Bachelor of Performing Arts in  Dance  (Kathak)  securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including Theory and Practical and 55% marks   in aggregate in Dance Practical also. 

OR 
Bachelor of Arts in the concerned subject  i.e.  Dance  (Kathak)    as a Major subject from a recognized University with securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including Theory and Practical and 55% marks  in aggregate in Dance Practical.
OR
Bachelor Degree in any discipline securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate  in the qualifying Degree. In addition to it, the candidate must have qualified in any one of the following Diploma(s) with the aggregate 55% marks in   Dance practical :

"Bachelor of Music/ Bachelor of Performing Arts in  Dance  (Bharatanatyam)  securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including Theory and Practical and 55% marks   in aggregate in Dance Practical also.

Bachelor of Arts in the concerned subject  i.e.  Dance  (Bharatanatyam)    as a Major subject from a recognized University with securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including Theory and Practical and 55% marks  in aggregate in Dance Practical.                                                                                                                                                            OR
