DHFWS Cooch Behar Recruitment 2025 for 20 Contractual Posts under NHM

The Government of West Bengal, Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, District Health & Family Welfare Samiti (DHFWS) Cooch Behar has released a notification inviting online applications for 20 contractual vacancies under the National Health Mission (NHM).
Eligible residents of West Bengal having knowledge of the local language may apply online at www.wbhealth.gov.in from 06 November 2025 (10 AM) to 17 November 2025 (5 PM).

🧓 Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)

• Medical Officer: Up to 65 years

• Dental Hygienist: 22 – 40 years

• NRC Attendant (Female): 20 – 40 years

• Counselor / STS / STLS / TBHV / Lab Technician: 21 – 40 years

• Age Relaxation: as per West Bengal Government rules

📋 Vacancy Details

🎓 Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)

• Lab Technician (NCD): 10 + 2 with DMLT from Govt-recognized institute and 2 years hospital experience with computer knowledge.

• Counselor (NCD): Graduate in Social Science / Diploma in Counselling or Mass Communication with 2 years’ experience and MS Office skills.

• Medical Officer (RKS / Blood Service): MBBS registered under WB Medical Council; PG Diploma/Degree preferred.

• Dental Hygienist (NOHP): Diploma in Dental Hygienist from DCI-recognized institute with 2 years’ experience and valid registration.

• Dental Technician (NOHP): Diploma in Dental Technology with 1 year experience.

• NRC Attendant (Female): HS passed; local female within 5 km preferred.

• Counselor (RKSK): Graduate in Social Science with 2 years’ experience in Health/Social Sector; MS Office knowledge.

• STLS (NTEP): Graduate with DMLT/BMLT, computer knowledge and valid two-wheeler license.

• STS (NTEP): Graduate in Science; MSW preferred; computer skills and driving license required.

• Lab Technician (NTEP): 10 + 2 (PCB) with DMLT; BMLT preferred.

• TBHV (NTEP): Graduate in Science with 1-year experience as MPW/LHV/ANM and 2-month computer course.

💰 Application Fee

• UR Candidates: ₹100

• Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS): ₹50

• Payment Mode: Crossed Demand Draft in favour of “DH&FWS NON NHM MOTHER A/C COOCH BEHAR”
  (No cash, cheque, or money order accepted.)

🧾 Selection Process & Syllabus

• Stages of Selection: Shortlisting → Written Test / Computer Test → Interview

• Weightage Pattern: Academic marks + experience + test/interview scores as specified in official notification.

• Final Merit List: Prepared by District Level Selection Committee, Cooch Behar.

• Exam Coverage: English, General Awareness, Reasoning, Computer Basics, and subject-related topics.

📌 Other Important Instructions

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and fluent in the local language.

• Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.

• Experience certificates must clearly state duration, designation and employer signature with date.

• Conversion formula must be attached if marks are in CGPA/DGPA.

• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in tests or interviews.
