GSSSB Fireman-cum-Driver Recruitment 2025 for 138 Class-III Posts

Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB) has issued Advertisement No. 370/202526 for recruitment to 138 posts of Fireman-cum-Driver (Class-III) under Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation. The selection will be made through a competitive written examination followed by document verification. Applications are invited online only through OJAS within the specified dates.

• Reserved Category Female: +10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years
• As per Gujarat Civil Services Recruitment Rules, 1967

Important Notes:

• ST candidates of Gujarat get relaxed physical standards.
• Disability category is not eligible for this post as per Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation order.
• Female reservation exists; if suitable female candidate is not available, the seat shifts to male of same category.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

Candidate must possess:

1.     HSC (12th pass) from a recognized board

2.     6-month Fireman Course Certificate from State/Central Govt. recognized institute
OR
Certificate in Fireman / Driver-cum-Pump Operator trades

3.     Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence

4.     Physical Standards:

For Male

For Female

Disqualifying Physical Conditions: Knock-knee, flat feet, varicose veins, squint, skin disease, etc.

5.     Basic Computer Knowledge (as per GAD rules)

6.     Knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi languages

·      General Category: ₹500

·      All Reserved Categories (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/Female/Ex-servicemen): ₹400

·      Fee Refund: Candidates who appear in the exam will receive a refund.

Part A – 60 Marks

• Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation – 30
• Numerical Ability – 30

Part B – 150 Marks

• Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension – 30
• Fire & Safety, Fire Acts, Rules, Equipment, First-Aid, Physics, Chemistry basics, Disaster Management – 120

Qualifying Marks:

• Part A: 40% minimum
• Part B: 40% minimum

4.     Click Apply Now

5.     Fill Personal Details and Educational Details

6.     Accept the Assurance declaration → Click Save

7.     Note the generated Application Number

8.     Upload Photo (5×3.6 cm) and Signature (2.5×7.5 cm)

o    Photo must be recent (not older than 1 month)

9.     Confirm the application (after confirmation no correction allowed)

10.Pay the exam fee online

11.Take a printout of the Application Form & Fee Receipt
