The Office of the Medical Superintendent, Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, Government of NCT of Delhi, has released an official notification for Walk-in-Interview for Junior Resident (JR) posts on Adhoc basis under the Residency Scheme.
Eligible MBBS candidates can appear directly for the interview as per the schedule mentioned below.

📌 At present, 02 posts are vacant, and 06 additional posts are likely to become vacant by 27.01.2026.
Pay Scale & Tenure
- Pay Scale: ₹56,100/- per month
(Level-10 as per 7th CPC)
- Allowances: As admissible under Government rules
- Initial Tenure: 89 Days
- Extension: Extendable up to a maximum of 01 year, subject to satisfactory performance or till regular JR joins, whichever is earlier
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit:
- General: 40 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years Relaxation
- OBC: 3 Years Relaxation
Age is calculated as per Government of NCT of Delhi rules.
Essential Qualification & Eligibility
- MBBS Degree from a recognized University / Institution
- Valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) Registration
- Internship must be completed by December 2025
- Internship must not be completed before December 2023
- Preference will be given to fresh candidates
Selection Process
- Mode of Selection: Walk-in Interview only
- Separate merit lists will be prepared for:
- Fresh candidates
- Candidates who have already completed one year of residency
Fresh candidates will be considered first.

Candidates must bring:
- Duly filled application form
- Original MBBS Degree & Mark Sheets
- Internship Completion Certificate
- DMC Registration Certificate
- Proof of Age (Matric Certificate)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Proof of Permanent Address
- PAN Card Copy
- Two passport-size photographs
- One set of self-attested photocopies
📌 Candidates in Government service must submit NOC.
