Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, under the Government of NCT of Delhi, Department of Health & Family Welfare, has issued an official Walk-In-Interview notice for engagement of Senior Resident Doctors on adhoc basis for an initial tenure of 89 days, extendable up to 3 years as per rules.
Eligible candidates are required to appear in person as per the schedule with duly filled application and required documents.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- MBBS with PG Degree / Diploma / DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized institution
- Must have valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) registration
- Candidate must not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution (including regular/adhoc)
Relaxation / Alternative Eligibility
- If PG candidates are unavailable:
- Obs & Gynae: Candidates with 2 years experience
- Other departments (except Radiology): 3 years experience
- Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency may be considered if fresh candidates are unavailable.
Age Limit
- General / OBC: Up to 45 years
- SC / ST: Age relaxation as per Government of India rules
Pay Scale
- ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 (Level-11, 7th CPC)
- Plus allowances as admissible under Government rules
Tenure of Appointment
- 89 days initially
- Extendable with mandatory one-day break
- Maximum tenure up to 3 years (including previous SR experience) or till regular appointment, whichever is earlier
Selection Process
- Interview only
- No written test

Candidates must bring originals + self-attested photocopies of:

- Matriculation Certificate (Age Proof)
- MBBS Degree
- MD / DNB / Diploma Certificate
- Delhi Medical Council (DMC) Registration
- Residence Proof
- Experience Certificate (if applicable)
- Caste / Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Two passport-size photographs

Important Instructions
- OBC/EWS certificates must be issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi and valid for the current year
- Hostel accommodation is mandatory, subject to availability
- No TA/DA will be paid
- Vacancies are provisional and may change
- Appointment is purely adhoc and does not confer any permanent right
- Selected candidates must clear medical fitness from JPCH Medical Board
- Candidates must submit an undertaking that they are not working elsewhere during tenure
