NMDC Steel Limited has released an official notification for a Walk-In Drive to engage Trade Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 at its Nagarnar Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. Eligible ITI-qualified candidates can attend the walk-in drive on the scheduled dates as per their respective trades.
This apprenticeship opportunity is purely for training purposes and does not guarantee employment after completion.

· COPA
· Welder
· Mechanical (Fitter)

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following conditions:
· Must possess ITI Trade Certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institute
· Course duration must be 1 year or 2 years regular ITI, as applicable to the trade
· Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 are NOT eligible
· Candidate must complete online registration on Apprenticeship India Portal before appearing for the walk-in drive

💰 Stipend
· Selected apprentices will receive stipend as per DGT (Directorate General of Training) guidelines
📝 Selection Process
· Selection will be based on Screen Test / Trade Test
· Typing test is mandatory for COPA trade
· Final selection is subject to document verification and medical fitness

Candidates must bring:
· Updated Resume with passport-size photograph
· Proof of Date of Birth
· Address Proof
· Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC, if applicable)
· ITI Trade Certificate & Mark Sheets
· Self-attested photocopies of all documents

· No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in drive
· No accommodation will be provided by NMDC Steel Limited
· Candidates should be prepared to stay at their own cost if required
· Apprenticeship does not ensure regular employment
