RPCAU Pusa MBA (Rural Management) Admission 2025-26

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU), Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar has invited applications for admission to its MBA in Rural Management Programme under the School of Agribusiness & Rural Management for the academic session 2025-26. This is an excellent opportunity for students from agriculture and allied sciences backgrounds aspiring for careers in rural management, agribusiness, and development sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (four-year course) in Agriculture and allied sciences.

• Minimum OGPA/Marks:

  • General/OBC/EWS: 6.60/10.00 or 60% marks

  • SC/ST/PwD: 5.60/10.00 or 50% marks

• Entrance Exam: Candidates must have appeared in CAT/MAT/CMAT/ICAR AIEEA-PG examination.

• Age Limit: Minimum 19 years as on 31st July 2025 (as per ICAR guidelines).

Selection Procedure

Total marks: 100, distributed as follows:

• Academic Score: 30 Marks

• CAT/MAT/CMAT/ICAR AIEEA-PG Score: 30 Marks

• Group Discussion: 20 Marks

• Interview: 20 Marks

Minimum qualifying marks out of 100:

• UR: 60 marks

• OBC-NCL/EWS: 55 marks

• SC/ST/PwD: 50 marks

Merit will be prepared based on total marks scored.

Application Process

1. Download and fill the application form as per the prescribed format.

2. Convert the filled application into a single PDF file and send it via email to dyregistrar.acad@rpcau.ac.in.

3. Send the hard copy of the application form along with:

   • Original Demand Draft,

   • Self-attested documents (marksheets, certificates, transcripts),

   • CAT/MAT/CMAT/ICAR AIEEA PG scorecard,

   • Medical fitness certificate,

   • Two passport-size photographs,

   • Caste certificate (if applicable),
     in a sealed envelope super-scribing “Application for MBA (RM) against Advertisement No. 1/3136/2025” by Speed Post to:

Dy. Registrar (Academic), RPCAU, Pusa, Samastipur – 848125 (Bihar)

4. Last Date: The application must reach by 30/09/2025 up to 5:00 PM.

Applications received late or incomplete will be rejected. The university is not responsible for postal delays.

Application Fee

• General / OBC Candidates: ₹1000/-

• SC / ST Candidates: ₹500/-

• Fee must be paid through a Demand Draft from any nationalized bank.

• Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Fee Structure for MBA (RM)

Note:

• Tuition Fee (₹3,000) & Examination Fee (₹700) will not be charged from SC/ST candidates.

• Tuition Fee (₹3,000) will not be charged from OBC candidates unless they receive scholarships/fellowships.

Reservation

Reservation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Medium of Instruction

The medium of instruction for this programme is English only. Candidates must have proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English.

Hostel Facilities

This is a fully residential programme. It is mandatory for students to stay in the university hostel. Hostel facilities are available on campus.
