How to Apply for JKSSB Recruitment 2025-26

The application process is entirely online. Follow these steps to submit your application:

1.    Visit the Official Portal: Go to the official JKSSB website at www.jkssb.nic.in.

2.    Register: Click on the application link for Advertisement No. 13 of 2025. Register using a valid email ID and mobile number to generate login credentials.

3.    Fill the Application Form: Log in and complete the form with accurate personal, educational, and communication details. Choose your preferred post(s) as per eligibility.

4.    Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, domicile certificate, and category certificate (if applicable).

5.    Pay Application Fee: Pay the fee online via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.

6.    Submit and Print: Review the form, submit it, and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

• SC, ST-1, ST-2, EWS, PwBD: ₹500/-

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Domicile: Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir. A valid Domicile Certificate is required.
• Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025):
• Open Merit: 18 to 40 years
• SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/EWS/OBC: 18 to 43 years
• Physically Challenged (PwBD): 18 to 42 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 18 to 48 years
• Educational Qualification: Varies by post. Minimum qualifications range from Matriculation (10th) to Post-Graduation. Candidates must possess the required qualification from a recognized board/university by February 25, 2026.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be based on the following stages:

1.    Written Examination: The selection will be based on an Objective-Type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) exam conducted using OMR sheets.

o    Negative Marking: 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

2.    Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted after the written exam will be called for Document Verification.

3.    Final Merit List: Based on the exam performance, the final list will be prepared, subject to document verification.
