Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital (SGMH), Delhi has released an official notification for the recruitment of Senior Resident Doctors on an Ad-hoc basis. A total of 39 vacancies are available across multiple medical departments. Eligible candidates holding MBBS with PG Degree / Diploma / DNB can attend the Walk-in Interview scheduled on 17 December 2025.

Interested candidates must report for registration within the prescribed time along with all required documents.

Educational Qualification

·         MBBS degree recognized by NMC/MCI

·         Postgraduate Degree / Diploma / DNB in the concerned specialty

·         Must be registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or proof of having applied

Experience

·         Candidate must not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency earlier

·         For posts against specialist vacancies, only PG Senior Residents are eligible

🔹 Age Limit (as on 17.12.2025)

·         Maximum Age: 45 Years

·         Age Relaxation:

o    SC/ST – 5 Years

o    OBC – 3 Years

o    PwBD – 5 Years

🔹 Salary / Pay Scale

·         Pay Level: Level 11 (7th CPC)

·         Salary: ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 per month

·         Allowances: As per Government of Delhi rules

·         Selection will be based on Walk-in Interview

·         Interview may continue on subsequent days if the number of candidates is high

·         Separate merit lists will be prepared for:

o    Fresh candidates

o    Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency

·         Fresh candidates will be given preference

🔹 Documents Required

Candidates must bring:

·         Duly filled application form with photograph

·         All original certificates

·         Two passport-size photographs

·         One set of self-attested photocopies of all documents

·         Registration proof of Delhi Medical Council

⚠️ Entry will not be allowed after 12:00 PM on the interview date.

🔹 Important Instructions

·         Appointment is initially for 89 days or till regular appointment, whichever is earlier

·         Selected candidates must join within 7 working days

·         No TA/DA will be paid

·         Candidates must wear proper medical uniform (white apron)
