Short Information : The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official Air Force Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Notification for 144 vacancies across multiple technical trades at the Base Repair Depot (BRD), Air Force Station Chandigarh.
Both male and female Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

How to Apply Online for Indian Air Force Apprentice 2025
Follow these steps to submit your application on the NAPS Portal:
1. Visit: www.apprenticeship.gov.in
2. Register/Login: New candidates must register; existing users can log in directly.
3. Search Notification: Find “Indian Air Force – Base Repair Depot Chandigarh Apprentice Training 2026”.
4. Fill Application Form: Enter all required personal and educational details.
5. Upload Documents:
o Passport-size color photo (max 50 KB, with slate showing name)
o Left thumb impression
o Signature
o Educational certificates (10th + ITI)

IAF Apprentice Eligibility 2025
A. Educational Qualification
- Mandatory:
- 10th pass
- ITI (NCVT) in relevant trade with at least 40% marks
- Desirable:

- All Categories (Gen/OBC/SC/ST): 17 to 35 years
- Age relaxation as per Apprenticeship Act 1961 & Rules 1992
C. Medical Fitness
- Height: Minimum 152 cm
- Weight: Minimum 48 kg
- Hearing: Able to hear forced whisper from 6 meters
- Dental: Minimum 14 dental points
- General health: Should be physically & mentally fit
- Medical certificate from a Gazetted Medical Officer is required

Selection is based purely on merit, through the following stages:
1. Written Examination (AATWT) – 18 January 2026
2. Interview – 19 January 2026
3. Document Verification
4. Medical Verification
5. Final Merit List – 23 January 2026
Indian Air Force Apprentice Stipend 2025
Selected candidates will receive:
- ₹10,500/- per month during the entire training period
- No TA/DA will be provided for the selection process
