The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the official notification for the Jharkhand Assistant Jailor Competitive Examination (JAJCE-2025). A total of 45 posts of Assistant Jailor will be filled through Regular & Backlog vacancies.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university (must be obtained before the last date of online application).

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 years

• Maximum Age:

  • UR / EWS: 35 years

  • BC-I & BC-II (Male): 37 years

  • UR/EWS/BC (Female): 38 years

  • SC/ST (Male & Female): 40 years

• Ex-Servicemen: Up to 5 years relaxation in maximum age.

🏋️ Physical Standards

Height (cm):

• UR / BC / EBC (Male): 160 cm

• SC / ST (Male): 155 cm

• Female (All categories): 148 cm

Chest (cm, Male only):

• UR / BC / EBC: 81 cm (Unexpanded)

• SC / ST: 79 cm (Unexpanded)

⚠️ Candidates must be free from color blindness, night blindness, stammering, serious hearing defects, hernia, hydrocele, piles, or any communicable/mental diseases.

💰 Pay Scale

• Level-5, ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Pay Matrix)

💳 Application Fee

• UR / OBC / EWS (Jharkhand State): ₹100

• SC / ST (Jharkhand State): ₹50

• Payment: Online only, non-refundable.
