CGTET 2025 – Chhattisgarh TET Online Form 2025- Admit Card Out

Short Information

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) has released the notification for the Chhattisgarh Teaching Eligibility Test (CGTET) 2025/2026 for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1-5 (Primary) and 6-8 (Upper Primary). Online applications are invited from 13 November 2025 until 08 December 2025 (5 PM). Exam is tentatively scheduled for 01 February 2026.

• Last Date for Registration & Form Submission: 08 December 2025 (5:00 PM)

• Correction Window: 09 – 11 December 2025

• Exam Date (Tentative): 01 February 2026

• Admit Card Release: 19 January 2026 

Age Limit

• No age limit prescribed for CGTET 2025, as per notification.

Vacancy Details / Chart

• This is a Teacher Eligibility Test – qualification test for eligibility; no fixed number of “vacancies” declared for posts.

• Successful candidates will obtain eligibility certificate to apply for teaching posts in Chhattisgarh.

Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)

Level I (Classes 1–5)

• 12th Passed (at least 50% marks) + Passed/Appearing 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education
  OR

• Any Bachelor’s Degree + Passed/Appearing 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education
  OR

• 12th (50%) + 4-Year B.El.Ed

Level II (Classes 6–8)

• Bachelor’s Degree + Passed/Appearing 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education
  OR

• Bachelor’s Degree (50%) + B.Ed / Special B.Ed Degree
  OR

• 12th (50%) + 4-Year B.El.Ed

Application Fee

• General: ₹350

• OBC: ₹250

• SC / ST / PwBD: ₹200
  (Payment through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI)

Selection Process & Syllabus

Selection Process: Direct online test → Certificate issuance → Eligible for teaching posts.

For Level I (150 Marks / 2 hr 30 min)

• Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 Qs (30 Marks)

• Language I – 30 Qs (30 Marks)

• Language II – 30 Qs (30 Marks)

• Mathematics – 30 Qs (30 Marks)

• Environmental Studies (EVS) – 30 Qs (30 Marks)

For Level II (150 Marks / 2 hr 30 min)

• Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 Qs (30 Marks)

• Language I – 30 Qs (30 Marks)

• Language II – 30 Qs (30 Marks)

• Concerned Subject – 60 Qs (60 Marks)

How to Apply

1. Visit official portal of CGPEB

2. Click on “CGTET 2025 Online Form”

3. Register with valid email & mobile number

4. Fill the application form, upload photo & signature

5. Pay the fee online as per category

6. Submit before 08 December 2025 (5 PM)

7. Download and keep print-out of confirmation

Other Important Instructions

• Apply only once — duplicates may be rejected.

• Ensure photograph & signature meet size/format specifications.

• Successfully applying for CGTET does not guarantee appointment — it grants eligibility for teacher recruitment.

• Provide valid category certificate if applying under reserved category.

• Admit card, answer key & result will be published on official website only.

• Candidate must fulfil qualification criteria by the date of application.

• No TA/DA will be paid for examination.

• The Board reserves right to cancel or modify the process without prior notice.
