Short Information : The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released the notification for 232 Medical Officer (General Wing) vacancies in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates with MBBS qualifications can apply online from 14th November to 12th December 2025 at hppsc.hp.gov.in.

Education Qualification
- MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- The degree must be from a recognized medical qualification listed in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
- Desirable: Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in relevant specialty and knowledge of customs, manners & dialects of Himachal Pradesh.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 45 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per HP government rules.

- Pay Band Level-18: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month.
