NIMHANS Recruitment 2025 for Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) Post in NIH-Funded Project – Walk-in Interview
Short Information:
National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru – an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India – has released Notification No. NIMH/PROJ/NIH-USA/203/002/2024/01878 dated 06 November 2025, inviting candidates for a Walk-in Interview for the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) on a contract basis.
The position is under the NIH (USA)-funded project titled “Secondary Cervical Cancer Prevention in Vulnerable Women with HIV and HPV Co-Infection in India”, supervised by Dr. Veena A. Satyanarayana, Additional Professor of Clinical Psychology & Principal Investigator, NIMHANS.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
-
ANM graduate with experience in clinic- or community-based projects involving vulnerable populations.

Fluency in Kannada (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
Desirable Qualification:
Key Responsibilities:
-
Participate in structured training on project intervention protocols and documentation.
-
Conduct and support screening and intervention sessions.
-
Assist nursing staff and ensure compliance with project guidelines.
-
Travel to assigned ART Centres across Karnataka as required.

Selection Process

Walk-in Selection consisting of written/skill test and interview.

Candidates must register 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the test.

Original and photocopies of all certificates, mark sheets, and testimonials must be produced.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test/interview.

Report to the Boardroom, 1st Floor, NBRC Building, Administrative Block, NIMHANS, Bengaluru at 10:00 a.m. on 20 November 2025.

Carry bio-data, original certificates, copies of documents, and a recent photograph.

If working in another project (Extramural/Intramural) at NIMHANS, obtain a NOC from the Principal Investigator before appearing.
