Short Information:
Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, invites applications for the post of Field Investigator under the ICSSR – Punyashloka Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Special Call for Women-Led Research on Women-Led Development Project titled “Towards Viksit Bharat: Case Studies on Tribal Female Sarpanches in the Mayurbhanj District of Odisha”.
The position is purely temporary and project-based, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates from the social sciences field to work on a women-led rural governance study.

Job Description
-
Conduct extensive fieldwork across multiple blocks in Mayurbhanj district (Odisha).

Collect qualitative data, conduct interviews, and prepare data transcriptions.

Support analysis, reporting, and field documentation.
Selection Process

Shortlisting based on academic qualification, relevant field experience, and suitability for the project.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Candidates must arrange their own accommodation in Dhanbad, if required.
