IIT Bombay Recruitment 2025 for Project Associate-I Post

Short Information:

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Powai, Mumbai, has released Advertisement No. IRCC/EXT414/2025 for recruitment to the post of Project Associate – I under the project “Design and Development of 11kV Medium-Voltage SiC based DC Fast Charger (E-RIDES)”. The post is purely temporary and project-based, initially for one year.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Four years Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent discipline.

Essential Experience:

• Expertise in modeling and analysis of magnetic materials and design and testing of insulation systems.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of design and topologies of solid-state transformers.

Age Limit:

• Maximum 50 years as on the closing date of application.

Job Profile:

• Design of magnetics and insulation systems for medium voltage high-frequency transformers used in DC fast-charging applications for electric vehicles.

Pay Scale:

• Consolidated Salary: ₹30,000/- per month + HRA

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

• The selection committee may offer a lower or higher designation/salary based on experience and performance.

• Candidates must attend the interview at their own expense.

The program includes 28 sub-projects, 6 partner institutes, and 22 industry collaborators, aiming to accelerate next-generation EV technology development in India.
