The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ), Ranchi is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-I under the prestigious DST-SHRI Vigyan Dhara Project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. This temporary post offers an exciting opportunity to work on a field-based research initiative involving 3D laser scanning, GIS mapping, and conservation planning of Buddhist monasteries in the Himalayan cold desert regions of Lahaul-Spiti and Ladakh.

🔍 Vacancy Details:

Candidates awaiting final semester results can also apply if CGPA till last semester is 8.0 or above.

📅 Important Dates:

📘 Project Overview:

·        Project Title:

Field based 3D Laser Scanner Structural Mapping and Monitoring of Buddhist Monasteries for Conservation Planning incorporating Natural Hazards in parts of Lahaul-Spiti-Ladakh

·        Duration: Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.

·        Fellowship:

₹25,000 per month + 16% HRA

📝 Important Instructions:

·        The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

·        No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining the post.

·        Candidates must produce original documents at the time of joining.
