Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- 10th Class (10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks, AND
- National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT.
Age Limit (as on 07-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwD: +10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Railways rules (service + 3 years)
Salary / Stipend
Stipend will be provided as per Railway Board rules applicable for Act Apprentices.

Selection will be purely merit-based, prepared from:
- 10th Marks (50% minimum)
- ITI Marks
The merit list is prepared based on the average percentage of 10th + ITI.
Tie-breaking rules:
1. Candidate with higher age preferred.
2. If same, candidate who passed 10th earlier gets preference.
Final selection will be subject to:
