Exam Centers:
SSC offers centers across 9 regions including Patna, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Guwahati, Chennai, etc. Candidates can select three centers in preference order.
Facilities for PwBD Candidates:
- Scribe facility allowed for visually impaired and certain locomotor disabled candidates
- 20 minutes extra time per hour in CBT for eligible PwBD candidates
- Candidates must upload required certificates (Annexures included in PDF)
Rejection & Document Verification:
The application is accepted provisionally, and final verification is done post-exam by user departments. Candidates must upload documents like:
- Matriculation certificate (proof of DoB)
- Educational qualification certificates
- Caste/Category certificates (if applicable)
- Disability certificates for PwBD
Failure to produce valid documents leads to cancellation of candidature.
Selection Process
The selection will be purely on the basis of merit through a Computer Based Examination (CBE). There will be no interview.
