Panjab University Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in Interview for Project Staff (LKI, Chandigarh)

Panjab University, Chandigarh, acting as the Lead Knowledge Institution (LKI) of the State Support Mission, Chandigarh (FY 2025–26), invites eligible candidates to appear for a Walk-in Interview for various purely temporary, project-based positions under different thematic projects.
The appointments will be strictly co-terminus with the respective project duration.

Nature of Engagement

·         Posts are purely temporary

·         Engagement is project-based and co-terminus with project duration

·         No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Project-Wise Vacancy Details

Project 1: Tourism

Project Title: Enhancing Tourism in Chandigarh beyond its Current Status as a Transit City
Principal Investigator: Prof. Prashant Gautam

Job Role: Data collection, field survey, report writing, paper drafting

Project 2: Healthcare

Project Title: Analysis and Screening of Iron Deficiency Anemia
Principal Investigator: Dr. Rupinder Kaur

Job Roles:

·         Field study, dashboard designing, data analysis (Intern)

·         Data acquisition, report writing, paper & patent drafting, team handling (Research Assistant)

Project 3: Environment Monitoring

Project Title: Centralized Real-Time Air Quality Pollutant Mapping Dashboard with Data Analytics
Principal Investigator: Prof. Prashant Jindal

Job Role: Field studies, calibration, circuit design, prototyping

Project 4: Education, Skill Development & Employment

Project Title: Skill-Gap Mapping for Policy Reform: Designing & Piloting Assessment Tools in Chandigarh
Principal Investigator: Prof. Suveera Gill

Job Roles:

·         Survey design, data collection, validation, analysis

·         Report writing, policy briefs, documentation

Selection Process

·         Shortlisting based on eligibility

·         Final selection by Project-Related Selection Committee

·         Only eligible candidates will be interviewed
