WB Primary Teacher Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 13,421 Assistant Teachers Posts

Short Information : The West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 13,421 Assistant Teachers in Govt. Aided / Govt. Sponsored Primary / Junior Basic Schools across the state.

Eligible candidates with Graduate, B.El.Ed, or D.El.Ed qualifications can apply online through the official website – wbbpe.org. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for West Bengal Primary Teacher Recruitment from November 19, 2024, until December 9, 2024, through the official WBBPE website.

WB Primary Teacher Recruitment 2025 – Important Dates

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Age relaxation applicable for SC, ST, OBC (A & B), PwD, Ex-Servicemen, EC, Para-Teachers as per rules.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed.
• Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with 45% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed. (as per NCTE norms).
• Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed.
• Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
• Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed.
• Must have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by WBBPE.

Salary

• Pay Scale: As per West Bengal Government rules.

• Madhyamik / Equivalent: 05 Marks
• Higher Secondary: 10 Marks
• Training (as per NCTE): 15 Marks
• Teacher Eligibility Test (TET): 05 Marks
• Extra-Curricular Activities: 05 Marks
• Viva-Voce / Interview: 05 Marks
• Aptitude Test / Para-Teacher Experience: 05 Marks
