Short Information : The Directorate of Social Security and Women and Child Development Department (SSWCD Punjab) has released a recruitment notification for Translators, Special Educators, Interpreters, and other posts. Eligible candidates with Graduate, Master’s Degree, Diploma in Special Education and other recognized qualifications can apply offline.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

✅ Translators

• Master’s in Punjabi or English with Punjabi/English as a compulsory subject at graduation level.
• Diploma or certificate in translation OR 2 years’ translation experience (Punjabi-English and vice versa) in a government organization.

✅ Sign Language Interpreters

• Indian Sign Language Course Level-C OR Diploma in ISL Interpretation (DISLI).
• Must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

✅ Special Educators

• Graduation with minimum 50% marks.
• B.Ed. in Special Education OR B.Ed. with a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
• Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is mandatory.
