Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released a major notification for the engagement of Trade Apprentices, Technician Apprentices, and Data Entry/Account/Secretarial Apprentices across 9 IOCL Refineries:
Guwahati, Barauni, Gujarat, Haldia, Mathura, Panipat, Digboi, Bongaigaon & Paradip.

Candidates meeting the required qualifications can apply online through both NAPS/NATS portal and IOCL portal (www.iocrefrecruit.in).

• Online Application Start Date: 28 November 2025 (10:00 AM)

• Last Date to Apply: 18 December 2025 (05:00 PM)

• Tentative Publication of Shortlisted Candidates for Document Verification: 27 December 2025

• Tentative Document Verification Dates: 02 January 2026 to 07 January 2026

• Minimum: 18 Years

• Maximum: 24 Years

◆ Educational Qualifications

1. Trade Apprentice – AOCP, Boiler

• 3-year B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry)

2. Trade Apprentice – Fitter

• Matric + ITI (Fitter Trade), 2-year duration

3. Technician Apprentice – Chemical

• Diploma in Chemical / Petrochemical / Chemical Technology / Refinery & Petrochemical Engg.

4. Technician Apprentice – Mechanical

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

5. Technician Apprentice – Electrical

• Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering

6. Technician Apprentice – Instrumentation

• Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control / Applied Electronics / similar

7. Secretarial Assistant

• BA / BSc / BCom (3 years)

8. Accountant

• B.Com (3 years)

9. Data Entry Operator (Fresher & Skill Certificate)

• Class 12 Pass

• Skill Certificate (only for Skill Certificate Holder category)

• Shortlisting based on eligibility & marks

No written exam for Apprenticeship.

2. Register as an apprentice.

3. Visit IOCL Apprentice Portal: www.iocrefrecruit.in

4. Fill the application form with correct refinery selection.

5. Upload documents & submit before the deadline.

◆ Other Important Instructions

• Candidates must apply on both portals (NAPS/NATS and IOCL).

• Selection is refinery-specific; no inter-refinery transfer allowed.

• Only one application per candidate is allowed for one refinery.
