The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Advertisement No. 05/2025 inviting applications for the post of Section Officer (Group-B, Gazetted) through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE). A total of 22 vacancies are available in the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat.

πŸŽ“ Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    Bachelor’s Degree/Graduation in any subject from a recognized University.

  • Service Requirement:
    Minimum 5 years of regular service in the grade of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) in the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat.

  • Performance Requirement:
    At least five consecutive β€œVery Good” APAR gradings in the last 5 years.

  • Pay Level-8: β‚Ή47,600 – β‚Ή1,51,100 (as per 7th CPC).


πŸ“ Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through Written Examination and Viva-Voce.

βœ… Candidates must secure 33% aggregate in written papers (with at least 20% in each paper) to qualify for interview.

  • APST Candidates: β‚Ή150/-

  • Others: β‚Ή200/-

  • Fee payable via Treasury Challan in favor of Secretary, APPSC, Itanagar under Head of Account: 0051, 102 – State PSC.

  1. Download the application form from https://appsc.gov.in.

  2. Fill the form and get it recommended by your Cadre Controlling Authority with APAR details of the last 5 years.

  3. Attach required documents:

    • Recent passport-size photo

    • Self-attested Degree Certificates & Mark Sheets

    • Matriculation Certificate (DOB proof)

    • APST Certificate / PRC / Aadhaar (for General candidates)

    • Appointment Order to ASO post

    • Treasury Challan copy (fee payment proof)

  4. Submit the duly nominated and complete application through Cadre Controlling Authority to the APPSC office, Itanagar.

  5. Last Date: 30 October 2025 (by 3:00 PM).
