Vacancy Details (Total – 80 Posts)

Departments include: Anaesthesiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Cardiology, Community Medicine, Dermatology, ENT, Forensic Medicine, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Hospital Administration, Microbiology, Neonatology, Neurology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Pediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radio Diagnosis, Surgical Oncology, Urology and more.

Educational Qualification & Experience (as per post)

Assistant Professor (General Specialties)

• MBBS or equivalent recognized qualification under IMC Act / NMC.

• Postgraduate qualification in MD/MS in relevant subject.

• Experience: 3 years teaching/research experience after obtaining qualifying degree.

Assistant Professor (Super-Specialties like DM/M.Ch.)

• MBBS with DM/M.Ch. in relevant specialty.

• Experience: 1 year teaching experience (for 2/5 year courses); No additional experience required for 3/6 year courses.

Non-Medical Candidates (for Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Physiology, etc.)

• Master’s Degree in concerned subject + Doctorate degree.

• Experience: 3 years teaching/research experience after Ph.D.

Associate Professor

• 6 years teaching/research experience (MD/MS),

• 4 years (DM/M.Ch. 2/5 years), or

• 3 years (DM/M.Ch. 3 years).

Additional Professor

• 10 years (MD/MS),

• 8 years (DM/M.Ch. 2/5 years), or

• 7 years (DM/M.Ch. 3 years).

Professor

• 14 years (MD/MS),

• 12 years (DM/M.Ch. 2/5 years), or

• 11 years (DM/M.Ch. 3 years).

Pay Scale (7th CPC + NPA where applicable):

• Professor: Level-14-A (₹1,68,900 – ₹2,20,400)

• Additional Professor: Level-13-A2+ (₹1,48,200 – ₹2,11,400)

• Associate Professor: Level-13-A-1+ (₹1,38,300 – ₹2,09,200)

• Assistant Professor: Level-12 (₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400)

Application Fee:

• UR/OBC: ₹3000

• EWS/SC/ST: ₹2400 (Refundable for SC/ST if attended interview)

• PwBD: Exempted

Selection Process:

• Interview (screening test may be held for shortlisting).

• Candidates must appear in person for the interview (no online interview allowed).
