The Directorate General of Electronics & Mechanical Engineers (DG EME), Indian Army has released a recruitment notification for Group C posts across various Army Base Workshops and Static Workshops all over India. A total of 194 vacancies are available, and applications will be accepted via offline mode from 04 October 2025 to 24 October 2025.
This is a great chance for candidates with 10th, 12th, or ITI qualifications to get into Defence civilian service in DG EME.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Post-wise):
-
LDC: 12th pass + typing speed test (English 35 wpm / Hindi 30 wpm)

Fireman, Tradesman Mate, MTS, Cook, Washerman: 10th pass
-
Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Millwright, Armament Mechanic, Electrician etc.: 12th pass + ITI certificate in relevant trade (for some posts)

Electrician (Power) / Highly Skilled-II: 12th + ITI in Electrician trade

Vehicle Mechanic (AFV): 12th + ITI in Motor Mechanic trade

Other posts’ qualifications as per detailed notification
Age Limit (as on last date): Age Calculator

Fill the form carefully, providing all required details.

Attach self-attested copies of educational certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), disability certificate (if applicable), identity proof, photos, etc.
