BMC Assistant Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 11 Posts

Short Information : The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC/MCGM) has released the official notification for 11 Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) posts on a contractual basis. Candidates possessing MBBS qualification and Maharashtra Medical Council registration can apply online through the official website mcgm.gov.in.

The online application process is open from 05 February 2026 to 18 February 2026, and a walk-in interview will be conducted on the same day.

BMC AMO Recruitment 2026 – Overview

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India
• Registered with Maharashtra Medical Council
• Medical Experience:
• Minimum 6 months House Post, OR
• 1 year Residency as Residential Medical Officer
• Marathi language at SSC/HSC level (mandatory)
• Computer certification: CCC/DOEACC O/A/B/K level or equivalent

Age Limit (as on 18-02-2026)

• Maximum: 38 Years
• Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per rules

Salary Details

• ₹90,000 per month (Consolidated)
• No DA/HRA/TA – purely contractual appointment
