Walk-in Interviews for SRF & Young Professional Posts | Bhubaneswar (Odisha)
ICAR–Indian Institute of Water Management (ICAR-IIWM), under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), has released multiple walk-in interview notifications (January–February 2026) for engagement of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Young Professional (YP-I & YP-II) on a purely temporary and contractual basis.
These recruitments are for ongoing projects including REWARD Project, ITMU-NAIF Project, and the LFOM Network Project. Walk-in interviews will be held on 11 February 2026 and 13 February 2026 at ICAR-IIWM, Bhubaneswar.

ICAR-IIWM invites eligible Indian candidates to appear for walk-in interviews for the following temporary project positions:
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – REWARD Project
Young Professional-II (YP-II) – ITMU-NAIF Project
Young Professional-II (YP-II) – LFOM Network Project
Young Professional-I (YP-I) – LFOM Network Project
The engagement will be up to 31 March 2026 or completion of the project (whichever is earlier) and may be extended based on performance and project requirement.

🔸 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – REWARD Project
Essential:
M.Tech / M.E. / Postgraduate in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering / Irrigation & Drainage / Remote Sensing & GIS / Geospatial Technology / CSE / IT / Water Resources Engineering
With 4-year B.Tech/B.E. background and expertise in advanced tools for watershed planning & management
Age Limit:
Men: up to 35 years | Women: up to 40 years (relaxation as per ICAR/GoI)
Place of Posting: ICAR-IIWM, Bhubaneswar and/or REWARD project sites (Odagaon & Daspalla)
🔸 Young Professional-II (YP-II) – ITMU-NAIF & LFOM
Essential:
M.Tech / M.E. / Postgraduate in Soil & Water Conservation / Irrigation & Drainage / Remote Sensing & GIS / Geospatial Technology / CSE / IT / Water Resources Engineering
With 4-year B.Tech/B.E.
Age Limit: 21–45 years (relaxation as per ICAR/GoI)
Desirable (LFOM): Field experience in drip irrigation installation & maintenance
🔸 Young Professional-I (YP-I) – LFOM
Essential (any one):
12th + 2-year Diploma in Agriculture / Polytechnic (Agri)
3-year UG Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture
Desirable: Experience in soil & plant analysis, field experiments, data recording/entry
Age Limit: 21–45 years (relaxation as per ICAR/GoI)
🧪 Nature of Duties
Assist project activities related to crop productivity, soil health, watershed planning, field data collection, analysis, and reporting
Travel to project sites as required
