Age Limit

Educational Qualification

• Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engineering) – 4 Years in the relevant discipline.

Discipline-Specific Groups:

• Mechanical: Mechanical, Mechanical & Industrial Engg., Mechanical & Production Engg., Marine Engg.
• Electrical: Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation
• Electronics: Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control
• Computer/IT: Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Technology

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience OR 1-year Graduate Apprenticeship training as of 31.12.2025 (sponsored by Employment Exchange).

GSL Trainee Project Executive Selection Process 2026

1.    Written Test

o   25% General Aptitude, 75% subject-related questions

o   Qualifying Marks: 40% (General/EWS), 35% (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)

o   Conducted online or offline (CBT/PBT)

2.    Document Verification

o   Shortlisted candidates in a 1:5 ratio based on written test marks

3.    Group Discussion / Interview

o   Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (General/EWS), 35% (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)

Final Merit: Written Test – 85%, Group Discussion/Interview – 15%

GSL Trainee Project Executive Salary 2026

Note: 70% of consolidated pay is considered as Basic Pay for PF, Gratuity, etc.
