Short Information: PSSSB Excise Inspector Recruitment 2026 notification has been released for 197 vacancies by the Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB). The recruitment is for the post of Excise Inspector in the Excise and Taxation Department, Punjab.

As per the short notice published on 6 February 2026, the detailed notification (Advt. No. 01/2026) will be released on 12 February 2026, and the online application process will begin from 13 February 2026 on the official website sssb.punjab.gov.in.

Candidates having a Graduation degree, 120-hour computer course certificate, and Punjabi language qualification are eligible to apply.

A total of 197 vacancies have been announced. The category-wise vacancy details (General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, etc.) will be released along with the detailed notification on 12 February 2026.

• Maximum Age: 37 years
• Age relaxation as per Punjab Government rules
