Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore has announced multiple Walk-in-Interviews for engagement of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Research Associate, Administrative Technical Assistant, and Library Assistant under various externally funded and university research schemes. These positions are purely temporary and project-based.

Eligible candidates are required to attend the Walk-in-Interview on the specified dates and venues.

Eligibility Criteria:

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• Relevant M.Sc. / M.Tech. degree from Farm / Conventional University as specified
• NET / SLET mandatory for higher fellowship rates (where applicable)

Research Associate

• Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences / Agricultural Microbiology / Soil Science / Agronomy / Pathology / Agricultural Meteorology
• Four-year Bachelor’s degree from State Agricultural University (SAU)

Administrative Technical Assistant

• Any Degree with Computer Knowledge

Library Assistant

• Three-year degree in relevant discipline
• One-year Library Science course
• Preference for experience in Library Automation, Digitization & Documentation

Consolidated Monthly Emoluments

Senior Research Fellow

• ₹37,000 p.m. – With NET
• ₹30,000 p.m. – Without NET
• ₹30,000 / ₹25,000 p.m. – NET/SLET based (as per scheme norms)
• ₹31,000 p.m. – With NET (specific project)

Research Associate

• ₹58,000 p.m. – With NET

Administrative Technical Assistant

• ₹20,000 p.m.

Library Assistant

• ₹20,000 p.m.

(Remuneration is purely consolidated and project-based.)

Selection Process

• Selection will be through Walk-in-Interview
• Candidates must satisfy educational qualification and NET requirements
• Final selection based on interview performance

• Bio-data / CV
• Original certificates with self-attested copies
• Educational qualification certificates
• NET / SLET certificate (where applicable)
• Experience certificates (if any)
• Passport-size photographs

 Important Notes

• All posts are temporary and co-terminus with the project
• No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview
• Candidates must report on time; late entry may not be permitted
• University reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment
