Short Information : The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially released the Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2026 Notification on 1 January 2026 under Advertisement No. 01/2026. A total of 5500 Constable vacancies are announced for Male, Female & GRP (Government Railway Police) posts.

Eligible candidates who have qualified CET Group-C can apply online from 11 January to 25 January 2026 through the official HSSC application portal. This is a fee-free recruitment drive offering a permanent government job in Haryana Police.

Haryana Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2026

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

• General / EWS / BCA / BCB: 18 – 25 Years
• SC / BC (Relaxed): Up to 30 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Haryana Govt rules

Educational Qualification

• 10+2 Pass from a recognized board
• Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric or higher
• CET Group-C Qualified (Mandatory)

Physical Standards (Minimum)

Haryana Police Constable Selection Process 2026

1.    CET Qualification (Mandatory)

2.    Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Qualifying

3.    Physical Screening Test (PST) – Qualifying

o    Male: 2.5 km in 12 minutes

o    Female: 1 km in 6 minutes

4.    Knowledge Test – 97 Marks (Bilingual)

5.    Additional Weightage – Up to 3 marks for NCC (A/B/C)
