Short Information : The Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway (RRC NR) has released the official notification for the RRC Northern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025 under Notification No. RRC/NR/05/2025/Act Apprentice. A total of 4116 vacancies have been announced for Act Apprenticeships under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the training year 2025-26. Eligible candidates can apply online from November 25 to December 24, 2025 at the official website rrcnr.org.

RRC NR Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification
- Passed 10th/Matriculation with minimum 50% marks.
- Passed ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute.
- Both 10th & ITI should be passed on or before 18.11.2025.
- Candidates with pending/awaited results are not eligible.

RRC NR Apprentice Selection Process 2025
Selection is purely merit-based. No exam or interview will be conducted.
Merit List Criteria
- Average of 10th percentage (min. 50%) and ITI marks.
- Tie-breaking rules:
1. Candidate with older age preferred.
2. If DOB same → candidate who passed 10th earlier.
Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates must appear with original certificates. Any mismatch = rejection.
RRC NR Apprentice Stipend
Selected candidates will receive stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and railway apprenticeship norms.

2. Click “Engagement of Act Apprentice 2025-26”.
3. Register with Name, DOB, Mobile No., Email ID.
4. Login & fill the application form.
5. Upload:

o Signature
o Thumb impression
o 10th Marksheet, ITI Certificate
o Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
6. Pay the application fee (if not exempt).
7. Submit the form and take a printout.
