Short Information : The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra (DMER Maharashtra) has released the official notification for Tutor and Junior Resident Recruitment 2026. A massive 1540 vacancies have been announced for Government Medical Colleges across Maharashtra. The online application process starts on 16 February 2026 and will close on 23 February 2026 (11:59 PM).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• MBBS Degree from a recognized medical college/university.
• Must have valid registration with Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC).

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 70 Years
  (As per NMC Gazette dated 30 May 2025)

No minimum age specified.

• MBBS Degree & Mark Sheets (All Years)
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Valid MMC/NMC Registration Certificate
• Government Photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport)

• Caste Certificate & Validity (if applicable)
• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (valid till 31 March 2026)
• Other reservation certificates (if applicable)

1.    Candidate from older admission batch preferred

2.    Older candidate (by DOB) preferred

3.    Candidate with MD/MS/DM/MCH/DNB/CPS preferred

Preference Filling

• Candidates shortlisted in merit list must fill online preferences (25–27 February 2026).
• Final allotment will be declared on 4 March 2026.

Selected candidates must join within 7 days of allotment.
