The UKPSC Prelims 2025 is a gateway to prestigious Group A and B posts in the Uttarakhand state government, including roles like Deputy Collector, DSP, and Block Development Officer. Conducted by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC), the exam consists of two stages, Prelims and Mains, followed by an interview.

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective type)

Note:

1. The preliminary examination will be of objective type, in which the negative evaluation method will be adopted. For each wrong answer or for multiple answers to a single question (even if one is correct), 1/4th mark will be deducted.
2. Merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the first question paper (General Studies). The second paper (General Aptitude Test) is qualifying in nature, and it is mandatory to score at least 33% marks for all category/sub-category candidates.

3. Interview/Personality Test: 150 Marks

Grand Total (Written + Interview): 1650 Marks
