Short Information : The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the BPSC Sports Officer Recruitment 2025 Notification for 33 posts of District Sports Officer, Assistant Director (Sports/Youth), and Lecturer (Physical Education) under the Bihar Sports Service Cadre. Eligible candidates can apply online from 2 September 2025 to 26 September 2025 at the official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

BPSC Sports Officer Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age (Male, UR): 37 Years
- Maximum Age (BC/EBC & UR Female): 40 Years
- Maximum Age (SC/ST Male & Female): 42 Years
(Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.)
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Diploma in Sports Coaching in relevant game from Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (SAI)
OR
- PG Diploma in Sports Coaching from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (Gwalior) / Central Sports University / UGC-recognized Sports University.
Representation in National/International competitions OR minimum participation as per official rules in recognized championships like Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, All India Inter-University, etc.
