CSIR-Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI), New Delhi has released Advertisement No. 03/PC/2026 for engagement of Project Staff on a purely temporary basis. Eligible candidates are invited to attend a Walk-in Interview on 11 February 2026 for project-based positions under two prestigious research projects related to vehicle statistics, transport planning, and urban mobility.

🔹 Project-1

Project Title:
Development of India’s detailed Vehicle Statistics along with Vehicle Kilometers Travelled (VKT) Analysis (GAP-4816)

Qualification

·         Master’s / Integrated Master’s in Transportation / Highway Engineering

·         Desirable:

o    1–2 years experience in Transport Planning / Environment

o    Knowledge of Data Analysis & Statistical Software

Age Limit: 35 Years

Monthly Emoluments

·         ₹35,000 + HRA (NET/GATE qualified)

·         ₹28,000 + HRA (Others)

🔹 Project-2

Project Title:
VIKAS: Vehicle Kilometers and Safety Assessment of Gig Workers in India’s Urban Transport Sector (OLP-0671)

Qualification

·         Master’s / Integrated Master’s in Transportation / Highway Engineering

·         3 years R&D experience in Academic / Industrial / S&T organizations

Desirable Skills

·         Transport Planning / Environment

·         Data Analysis & Statistical Software

·         GIS, Simulation, Vehicular Emission

Age Limit: 40 Years

Monthly Emoluments: ₹49,000 + HRA

·         Valid ID Proof (Aadhar / PAN / Voter ID / DL / Passport)
