What is 7th CPC?

The 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC) revised the pay structure for Central Government and PSU employees. It introduced Pay Levels from PL-1 to PL-18, DA rate revision twice a year, and new HRA & TA rules.

How Salary is Calculated

  • Total Earnings = Basic Pay + DA + HRA + TA + Other Allowances
  • Total Deductions = CGHS + NPS + Other deductions
  • Net Take Home = Earnings − Deductions

  • 58% – applicable from July 2025
  • 55% – applicable from Jan 2025
