Tezpur University Project Assistant Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in Interview

Tezpur University has issued an official notification for engagement of Project Assistant on a temporary/contractual basis under an IHFC-IIT Delhi sponsored research project. Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in interview as per the schedule given below.

🎓 Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech in
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
  OR
• M.Sc. in Physics / Electronics

🛠️ Responsibilities

The selected Project Assistant will be responsible for:

• PCB design and development
• Working with SMD components
• Control systems-related tasks
• Any other project-related duties assigned from time to time

🎂 Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 28 years on the date of interview
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India rules

⏳ Duration of Engagement

• Initially for 06 months
• Extendable or reducible based on:
• Performance of the candidate
• Project requirements
• Approval of competent authority

📂 Documents Required at Interview

Candidates must bring:

• Prescribed Application Form (Annexure-I) duly filled
• Recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Original and self-attested photocopies of:
• Mark sheets and certificates (10th standard onwards)
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Experience certificate (if applicable)
• Any other relevant testimonials

Original documents will be verified by the Selection Committee.
