National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Delhi (NIELIT Delhi Centre), an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, has released an official notification for Walk-in Interaction for the posts of Senior IT Assistant and IT Assistant on a purely contractual basis for deployment in Government Offices.

Eligible candidates may appear for the walk-in interaction on 30 January 2026 as per the prescribed schedule.

NIELIT Delhi is inviting applications for 01 post each of Senior IT Assistant and IT Assistant on a contractual / empanelment basis. Selected candidates will be empanelled for one year, and deployment will initially be for six months, extendable based on requirement and performance. This recruitment is suitable for candidates looking for IT jobs in government offices through NIELIT.

🔹 IT Assistant

• Science Graduate
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Experience: Not required

📌 Qualifications must be from a Government University or Government-recognized institution.

• Senior IT Assistant: ₹35,000 per month (CTC)
• IT Assistant: ₹27,000 per month (CTC)
