BCAS Recruitment 2025 – Group A, B & C Posts on Deputation (43 Vacancies)

Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, has released a Vacancy Circular for filling various Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts on Deputation (including Short-Term Contract – ISTC) basis.
Applications are invited from eligible officers of Central/State Governments, Union Territories, CAPFs, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies and Universities.

Eligibility & Experience

▶ Deputy Director (Intelligence)

• Analogous post on regular basis OR
• 5 years’ service in Level-10
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years’ experience in intelligence / liaison work
• Desirable: 2 years in aviation security
• Max Age: 56 Years

▶ Law Officer

• Analogous post OR
• 2 years in Level-9 / 4 years in Level-8
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• 3 years’ legal experience
• Desirable: Aviation security legal matters
• Max Age: 56 Years

▶ Assistant Director (AD)

• Analogous post OR 3 years in Level-07
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years’ experience in police/security/intelligence
• Max Age: 52 Years

▶ Senior Aviation Security Officer (SASO)

• Analogous post OR
• 5 years in Level-06
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years’ experience in police/security/intelligence
• Max Age: 56 Years

▶ Senior Aviation Security Assistant (SASA)

• From CAPFs / State Police / UT Police
• Analogous post OR 3 years in Level-02
• Max Age: 56 Years

▶ Staff Car Driver (Grade-I & II)

• Analogous post OR Head Constable (with service criteria)
• Valid Heavy/Light Motor Vehicle Driving Licence
• Knowledge of traffic rules, vehicle maintenance
• Max Age: 56 Years

▶ Dispatch Rider (DR)

• Police Constables from Central/State Police
• Valid licence for motorcycle / three-wheeler
• Max Age: 52 Years

Deputation Tenure

• Initial Tenure: 3 to 4 years (post-wise)
• Governed by DoPT Deputation Rules
• Extendable/curtailed as per Competent Authority

Selection Process

• Scrutiny of Bio-data & Documents
• Selection as per Deputation/ISTC norms
• No direct written exam for open market candidates

• Get it countersigned & stamped by Competent Authority
• Attach required documents:
• Cadre Clearance
• Vigilance Clearance
• Integrity Certificate
• APARs/ACRs (last 5 years)
