Short Information : IB ACIO Tech Recruitment 2025 Notification Out: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has officially released the IB ACIO Tech Recruitment 2025 notification for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical (ACIO-II/Tech).

IB ACIO Tech Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have:
- Valid GATE score (2023, 2024, or 2025) in Electronics & Communication (EC) or Computer Science & Information Technology (CS).
- A degree in any of the following:
- B.E./B.Tech in ECE, Electronics, CSE, IT, or related fields, OR
- M.Sc in Electronics/Computer Science, OR
- MCA from a recognized university/institute.
Age Limit (as on 16.11.2025):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 27 years
Age Relaxation:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- Others: As per Government of India rules (Ex-Servicemen, Departmental Candidates, etc.)
IB ACIO Tech Selection Process 2025
The Intelligence Bureau ACIO Tech selection will be conducted in three stages:
1. GATE Score Shortlisting
o Candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:10 based on their valid GATE scores.
2. Skill Test (Technical Evaluation)
o Practical or hands-on technical skill assessment related to the discipline.
3. Interview
o To assess subject knowledge, analytical ability, and communication skills.
🟩 Final Merit List will be prepared for 1175 marks:
- GATE Score – 750 marks
- Skill Test – 250 marks
- Interview – 175 marks
