Odisha OTET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Eligibility for Paper-I (Classes I to V)
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Higher Secondary with 45% marks and D.El.Ed (as per NCTE norms).
- Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed.
Eligibility for Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII)
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed.
- Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed.
- Graduation with 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed (as per NCTE norms).
- Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).

Odisha OTET 2025 Exam Pattern
The OTET 2025 consists of two papers —
