Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released Advertisement No. 35 of 2025–2026 for Direct Recruitment Examination to the post of Circle Officer under the Social Welfare, Women & Child Development Department, Government of Mizoram. Pay Scale

• Pay Level: Level-6 (7th Pay Matrix)
• Salary: ₹35,400 – ₹78,800 per month

Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification:
• Graduate from a recognized University
• Computer Proficiency:
• As prescribed under Mizoram Group ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ Posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Cut-off Date: Last date of application

Age Relaxation

• SC / ST – 5 years
• Other relaxations – As notified by Government from time to time

📌 Age proof: HSLC / HSSLC Certificate or valid Government document.

Mizo Language Proficiency

• Candidates must qualify Mizo Language Proficiency Test as prescribed by the Government.
• Exemption:
• Candidates who studied Mizo subject in Class X (HSLC) or above within Mizoram
• Candidates who opted Mizo as MIL outside Mizoram

Selection Process

• Direct Recruitment Examination conducted by MPSC
• Examination syllabus is available on the official MPSC website
