The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released an official advertisement for non-faculty positions on regular and contractual basis.
Interested and eligible Indian nationals can apply online through the official website www.iiitkalyani.ac.in from 29 October 2025 to 23 November 2025 (5 PM).

• Assistant Registrar: Up to 45 years

🎓 Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)

Deputy Registrar (Finance & Accounts)

• Essential: Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent and minimum 5 years administrative experience in PB-3 GP ₹5400 or equivalent in Govt/University/Research Organisation.

• Desirable:

  • 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounts as Assistant Registrar or equivalent.

  • Qualified CA/ICWA with strong academic record.

Senior Technical Officer

• Essential:

  • M.E./M.Tech (First Class) with 5 years’ experience

  • OR B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc./MCA (First Class) with 8 years’ experience at Technical Officer level (GP ₹5400 or equivalent).

• Desirable:

  • Experience in Linux/Windows system administration, networking, firewalls, routers, wireless controllers, and network security infrastructure.

Assistant Registrar

• Essential: Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent and excellent academic record.

• Desirable: 3 years’ experience in Administration / Finance / Legal / Examination / Establishment in a reputed academic institution (preferably Institute of National Importance).

Junior Engineer (Electrical) (Contractual)

• Essential: Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years’ experience OR Diploma with 5 years’ relevant experience.

Junior Assistant (Contractual)

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree with computer knowledge.

• Desirable (Finance & Accounts): B.Com with Tally, GST, and Income Tax knowledge.

🧾 Selection Process & Syllabus

• Mode of Selection:

  • Shortlisting based on qualification & experience.

  • Written Test and/or Interview.

• Syllabus (General):

  • English Language, General Aptitude, Reasoning, Computer Basics, and Subject-specific questions.

• Final Merit: Based on performance in test/interview and eligibility verification.

📌 Other Important Instructions

• Posts at Sl. 1–3 are Regular, while Sl. 4–5 are Contractual.

• Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate forms & fees.

• All qualifications must be from recognized institutions.

• Incomplete applications or missing documents will be rejected.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview.

• The Institute reserves the right to modify/cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
