Short Information : BHEL Jhansi has released the official BHEL Jhansi Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification on 13 February 2026. The recruitment is for Trade Apprentice (ITI), Technician Apprentice (Diploma), and Graduate Apprentice (Degree) training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 for the session 2026-27.

A total of 47 vacancies are available across various trades. Eligible candidates can apply online from 13 February 2026 to 5 March 2026 through the official BHEL Jhansi website jhs.bhel.com after registering on the respective government portals.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27 Years
• Age relaxation as per Government rules:
• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (NCL): 3 years
• PwD: 10 years
• BHEL Jhansi Employees’ Dependents: 3 years (additional)

Educational Qualification

1) Trade Apprentice (ITI)

• ITI pass in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute.
• Passed between 2023–2025.
• Minimum marks:
• General/OBC: 60%
• SC/ST: 55%
• Must be registered on www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
• Must not have undergone apprenticeship earlier.

2) Technician Apprentice (Diploma)

• 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant branch from AICTE recognized institute.
• Passed in 2023 or later.
• Minimum marks:
• General/OBC: 60%
• SC/ST: 55%
• Must be registered on www.mhrdnats.gov.in
• Distance/Correspondence Diploma not valid.

3) Graduate Apprentice (Degree)

• 4-year full-time B.E./B.Tech in relevant branch from AICTE recognized institute.
• Passed in 2023 or later.
• Minimum marks:
• General/OBC: 60%
• SC/ST: 55%
• Must be registered on www.mhrdnats.gov.in
• Distance/Correspondence Degree not valid.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in the following stages:

1.    Dual Registration (Mandatory)

o   Register on government portal (Apprenticeship India or NATS)

o   Apply on BHEL Jhansi portal using registration number

2.    Shortlisting for Written Exam

o   Ratio: 1:10 based on qualifying exam marks

3.    Written Examination

o   Trade/discipline-based syllabus

4.    Final Merit List

o   Based on written exam marks

5.    Document Verification

o   Original documents required
