Mizoram University, a Central University located in Aizawl, has invited applications for the engagement of Guest Faculty in various departments under Advertisement No. 3 of 2025. The positions are offered on a purely temporary basis and per-lecture honorarium.

🏫 Departments & Vacancies

✅ Minimum Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility and qualifications will be as per UGC/AICTE/NCTE/COA/RCI norms applicable to Assistant Professors in universities and colleges.

🔹 General Qualifications (Sciences/Languages)

• Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant subject

• NET/SLET/SET qualification OR Ph.D. in compliance with UGC regulations

🔹 Engineering & Technology

• B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in relevant branch with First Class

• Ph.D. after B.E./B.Tech. from Institutes of National Importance also eligible

🔹 Education & ITEP

• PG in Education + PG in related subject (with 55% marks)

• NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC norms

• For ITEP: B.Ed with 55% + PG in relevant school subject + NET/SET/Ph.D

• Criteria Form (Annexure II)

• Self-certified copies of:

  • 10th, 12th, UG, PG, M.Phil/Ph.D marksheets & certificates

  • Experience certificates with salary/honorarium details

  • NET/SLET/SET/Ph.D qualification proof

✉️ How to Apply

• Applications must be submitted via email only to the concerned Head of Department by 7th August 2025.

• Use the respective department’s email ID listed above.

• Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will be rejected.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Engagement will be purely temporary and need-based.

• Interview may be held at short notice—check the university website frequently.

• The University reserves the right to cancel any engagement or modify terms at any stage.

• Experience will be counted only if honorarium/salary was ₹25,000 or more per month.
