Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has invited online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the post of Junior Technician in various departments and facilities. The recruitment will be done as per Advt. No. IITG/R/10/2025 dated 18.07.2025.

Bachelor’s Degree in Physics/Chemistry OR Diploma/Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics, Engineering Physics, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering. Desirable: 1 year hands-on experience in analytical instruments (Spectrophotometer, Mass Spectrometer, XRD, Electron Microscope, Magnetometer, etc.)

💰 Pay Scale
- Level 3 as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Up to 27 years (Relaxation as per Govt. of India norms).
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Diploma/ITI (as per post requirement) + relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of Computer Applications is essential.
