Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division – Eastern Region, has released Advertisement No. IOCL/MKTG/ER/APPR/2025-26, inviting online applications for Trade, Technician, Graduate, and Data Entry Operator (DEO) Apprentices across:

West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam, Sikkim, Tripura, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh & Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

This engagement is under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/1992, and the training period is 12 months.

🎓 Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)

Technician Apprentice (101–106)

• 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum: 50% (Gen/EWS/OBC) | 45% (SC/ST/PwBD)

Trade Apprentice – ITI (107–111)

• Matric (10th) + ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT)

Graduate Apprentice (112)

• Full-time BA/BCom/BSc/BBA
• Minimum: 50% (Gen/EWS/OBC) | 45% (SC/ST/PwBD)

DEO – Fresher (113)

• Class 12th pass (NOT a graduate)

DEO – Skill Certificate Holder (114)

• Class 12th pass
• Skill Certificate under NSQF – Domestic Data Entry Operator

Important Notes:

• All qualifications must be regular/full-time.
• Higher qualifications such as BTech/MTech/BBA/MBA/MCA are not permitted.

🔞 Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)

• Minimum: 18 Years
• Maximum: 24 Years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: +5 years
• OBC-NCL: +3 years
• PwBD: +10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST PwBD)

📝 Selection Process

✔ No Written Test
✔ No Interview
✔ Selection based purely on merit (percentage in qualifying exam)
✔ Shortlisted candidates → Document Verification
✔ Final selection subject to Medical Fitness Test

💰 Stipend

Stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/1992 & amendments (2019/2025).

Step 2: Apply Under IOCL Eastern Region

Use the correct Establishment IDs:

Step 3: Submit Microsoft Form (MANDATORY)

AFTER APPLYING on the respective NATS/NAPS portal, the candidate MUST also require to furnish few details including choice of 3 (three) locations for training as Apprentice and document verification through Microsoft Form, latest by 09.01.2026. By visiting the link at  ttps://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/4846hcLHPE, candidates shall ensure to submit Microsoft Form, latest by 09.01.2026 failing which, candidates should not get their Call Letter for document verification and will not consider for further process.
